After the floods here at Howtown we were given snow!, although the scenery was beautiful, underfoot was treacherous and as you can see on the picture of the signpost, the debris from the floods was still evident here in the valley.
We are now back to rain, and all evidence of snow has disappeared, but we carry on, looking forward to the Spring and the regeneration of our rain soaked fields and gardens. At times the Lake District is a hard place to live but the beauty of the scenery more than makes up for that!
